Low-Stress Network
A key transportation goal identified in the TSP update process is establishing a low-stress transportation network. Beyond the improvement of bicycle infrastructure on major streets, the update seeks to establish a low-stress bicycle, pedestrian, scooter, and similar transportation network in the City. This low-stress network, which would be comfortable for individuals of all ages and abilities, would include improvements to encourage cycling on low-traffic streets as well as the expansion of multi-use paths.
Projects to create bicycle, pedestrian, and shared-use path and trail networks are proposed in Tech Memo #6. To view these preferred networks and provide comments, please use the interactive map links to the right. See the top righthand corner for instructions on how to leave comments.
