Pedestrian Alternatives

Pedestrian facilities are the elements of the transportation system that enable people to walk and roll safely and efficiently between residential neighborhoods and schools, parks, recreational areas, retail/commercial centers, and transit stops. This room identifies the pedestrian system needs and the alternatives developed to address the needs in the future.

Pedestrian Needs

A review of the existing pedestrian system indicates that there are several major streets with gaps and deficiencies in the pedestrian system that need to be addressed.
