Tumalo Community Plan (TCP) Update

Deschutes County has initiated a complete update of the Tumalo Community Plan (TCP) to provide a guide for development, capital improvements, and land use planning for a 20-year period from 2020-2040. Throughout the process, staff will be holding community outreach events to hear from the public about issues, ideas, concerns, and hopes regarding how Tumalo will develop from 2020-2040. The current TCP was developed in 2012 and covered 2010-2030. The update is expected to take 12 to 18 months and will conclude with public hearings before the Deschutes County Planning Commission and the Board of County Commissioners. You can follow the progress of the TCP on the project web page.

Deschutes County Transportation System Plan

Deschutes County is in the process of updating the Transportation System Plan (TSP) for the period of 2020-2040. The TSP is a long-range plan that identifies improvements to the County's transportation facilities and services to accommodate project population and employment growth within the County over the 20-year period. For more information about the update, please visit the project web page.

US20 and Cook Avenue Roundabout
