Overview

Why is this project important?

The Tumalo Health Impact Assessment was completed in 2008, the Tumalo Community Plan was adopted in 2010, and the County's Transportation Systems Plan in 2012.

Since those planning documents were adopted, the Tumalo Unincorporated Community has seen significant changes. The growth of new businesses and amenities have transitioned Tumalo into an active and vibrant community center in this historically rural locale.

There are also several planned projects in Tumalo that provide opportunities for safer and more connected active transportation facilities. Please visit the Other Planned Projects tab for more information.
