Intersection Improvements
As identified in previous projects, several intersections near or within Wickiup Junction need changes to improve capacity and/or safety. These could include adding new lanes or new types of lanes, traffic control devices (such as stop signs versus signals), and walking and biking facilities. Here are the intersections and their needs:
- U.S. 97/Frontage Road – capacity.
- U.S. 97/Rosland Road – capacity and safety.
- U.S. 97/Burgess Road – capacity and safety.
- Huntington Road/Burgess Road – safety and the City’s vision for the intersection.
- U.S. 97/First Street/Reed Road – capacity and safety.
