Eagle Road & Plaza Drive Design Details and Comment Form

Design Details: Eagle Road between State Street and Plaza Drive

• Widen Eagle Road to accommodate additional lanes generally between Aikens and Plaza Drive.
• Add raised center median. To improve safety, the center median will restrict access to right turns in and right turns out from Cedar Ridge Street and Aikens street as well as private driveways.
• Maintain bike lanes on both sides.
• Reconstruct sidewalks and pedestrian ramps as necessary.

Design Details: Plaza Drive between Eagle Road and 2nd Street

• Widen Plaza Drive to accommodate a second left turn lane onto Eagle Road. Both turn lanes will be lengthened to allow more cars to queue.
• Add raised center median. To improve safety, the center median will restrict access to right turns in and right turns out, except at driveways to Albertsons and Wells Fargo. Dedicated left turn lanes will be added at these locations.
• Reconstruct sidewalks and pedestrian ramps as necessary.
