Bicycle Plan

Bicycle facilities within Waldport are limited to shared roadways and shoulder bikeways as well as bicycle parking within the commercial areas.

The bicycle plan projects developed for the Waldport TSP update consist of shared roadway pavement markings and signs, shoulder bikeways, on-street bike lanes, multi-use paths, and enhanced bicycle crossings. These new facilities are intended to improve bicycle access to local schools and parks as well as general access and circulation within the City.

The exhibit to the right illustrates the location and type of the bicycle plan projects. The projects should be considered along with the multi-use path and trails plan projects, which will also provide access for bicycles.
