Gilliam County TSP - Alternatives AnalysisVirtual Workshop

Project Status

At our first Virtual Workshop in December 2014, community participants commented on the draft vision, goals, and objectives for the TSP as well as general concerns about transportation issues in Gilliam County and the three cities.

Based on the feedback identified during that meeting and the analysis of the County's transportation system, a list of potential transportation alternatives has been developed. These alternatives were evaluated based on the evaluation criteria identified in the vision, goals, and objectives. Based on this evaluation, projects were grouped into three categories:

1) High Priority
2) Medium Priority
3) Low Priority

At this point, we are soliciting feedback from the public and the Project Advisory Committee on this draft list of alternatives.

Please review our initial evaluations and provide your thoughts on which projects to move forward and the projects' relative priority for next steps. The next step will be to determine a preferred alternative, including a recommended set of projects, policies, programs, pilot projects, and studies, and developing a funding package to meet those needs. The project priority informs which projects are included in the preferred alternative.

Click on the Tell us what you think! page for more information about the draft projects and priorities. After you've provided your comments, please continue to the Next Steps page.
