These alternatives include: Monitoring the intersections to determine if the projected deficiencies are realized or if planned improvements mitigate the issues; Adding separate left- and/or right turn lanes; Optimizing signal timing/phasing; Installing new traffic signals or roundabouts when warranted; and Reconfiguring intersections to improve operations.
